Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Matheu (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Earning Visualizer mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to these practices.

1Information We Collect

a. Information you provide

  • Work schedule details (start/end times)
  • Hourly earnings, salary inputs (including calculator estimates), and currency preference

These values are kept locally on your device in SharedPreferences/HomeWidget storage and never leave the device unless you back up the OS yourself.

b. Purchase information

  • Transaction identifiers issued by Apple App Store / Google Play Billing
  • Product identifiers (e.g. app.matheu.earningViz2.premium, app.matheu.earningviz.premium)
  • Anonymous RevenueCat user IDs needed to verify entitlements

RevenueCat and the store providers process payments. We never see your full payment instrument or billing address.

c. Diagnostics & analytics

  • Non-identifying crash/error logs from Firebase Crashlytics
  • Event data such as widget updates or premium modal opens from Firebase Analytics (used only for product decisions, not ads)

Logs omit your salary, schedule, or contact data. They help us triage bugs and understand feature usage.

2How We Use Information

  • Render real-time earnings in the app and widgets (no cloud sync)
  • Validate, unlock, and restore premium access through RevenueCat
  • Schedule live widgets and keep them in sync via locally cached settings
  • Request in-app reviews only after eligible usage
  • Troubleshoot crashes and understand feature adoption through Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics

3Data Storage & Retention

  • Work schedule, salary inputs, currency, widget period preferences: stored locally on device-only storage (SharedPreferences + HomeWidget). Delete the app or OS data to remove them.
  • Premium entitlement cache: stored locally so widgets work offline; refreshed when RevenueCat responds.
  • Crash/analytics events: retained by Firebase under Google’s retention policies.
  • Purchase records: retained by RevenueCat and the respective store in line with their policies.

We only share the minimum information required to verify purchases or resolve crashes. None of these partners receives your locally stored work schedule.

5Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. Data is shared only with the services listed above, or if required by law or to respond to a verified deletion/access request.

6Children’s Privacy

EarningVisualizer is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can delete associated data from Firebase/RevenueCat.

7Your Choices

  • Delete the app (or clear its storage) to remove local data immediately.
  • Contact Apple or Google to remove transaction histories; we can request RevenueCat deletion after verifying ownership.
  • Disable analytics/crash reporting at the OS level if you prefer. The core app continues to function.

8Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy as we ship new features (e.g., new widget surfaces or analytics events). The current version always lives at https://matheu.app/apps/earning-visualizer/privacy with the updated “Last updated” stamp.
